Full disclosure: I didn’t finish this pint – my roommate did. He also finished a pint of Milk & Cookies immediately after..and there may have been a doughnut. I know what you must be thinking, with such little food how could he possibly share? Chalk it up to incredible generosity, he knows I am a big fan of coconut, and have a bit of a thing for B&J. So here are my thoughts and a few of Mooms’s.
Both Mooms and I are big B&J fans, but neither of us have ever been crazy about their chocolate base. Fair Goodness fared a bit better, there was an additional note of coconut which kept the chocolate from suffering the traditional blandness. I would have liked a few more German Cake pieces (like in Dubba and Erin’s pints), and the Mooms was calling for a thicker caramel swirl, but all in all – not bad.
I plan to pick up a pint of my own at some point, but don’t see it becoming a favorite. Mooms felt this was a one and done, but among the best of the chocolate flavors.

you’re lucky to have found this flavor. been searching everywhere in the greater chicagoland, can’t seem to locate a pint.
Hey Roddy.
I was just saying to Marvo on TIB how lucky you guys were getting all these limited editions. low and behold I see you have got hold of another one here haha!
This one looks nice. Its good to hear the coconut came through enough for you.
Jim
Im not a huge fan of B&Js chocolate ice cream either, i always find it a bit..meh..tasting, would love to try one of their peanut butter concoctions!
Nat – I saw they have this in the UK under the name “Cocunutterly Fair” If you do get a chance for a PB flavor – Clusterfluff for sure
Jim – that we are, I’d love to see your take on some of the flavors available in the UK.
P – I don’t know about Chicago, but I’m not ashamed to tell you (and recommend) that I’ve called my local supermarkets in the past
Review more ben & jerry’s please!! your reviews are the best
Just so you know, if you weren’t satisfied with the amount of cake pieces in your B&J ice cream, you can write a letter to customer service on the website(you will need to use the identifying numbers from the bottom of the pint as proof that it was a real pint) and B&J will mail you a coupon for a free pint of ice cream.
