Anytime I see B&J and “Limited Batch” I just about automatically throw it in the cart. Snickerdoodle’s aren’t a favorite cookie of mine, but I like them well enough..and hey; it’s ice cream.
Snickerdoodle Cookie is supposed to be “buttery cinnamon ice cream loaded with snickerdoodle cookies”
Base: Does carry a buttery mild cinnamon taste, creamy as all B&Js. Similar if not exact same base as B&Js cinnamon buns
Cookie Pieces: Nice sized buttery snickerddoles could be foudn throughout. These appeared to be actual chunks of cookie. They were softened by the ice cream, but retained some bite to them, tasty but not spectacular.
Swirl: There wasn’t one. I really feel like this ice cream would have been imrpoved by some sort of complimentary swirl.
Grade: B-
This ice cream reminded me of a lesser cinnamon buns. The same base ice cream without a swirl and a lesser (in my opinion) mix in with the snickerdoodle pieces. It’s still a quality ice cream, but not B&Js best showing.

Had this at a scoop shop awhile back, I feel the same way. Where the hell is Peanut Butter Cookie, that's what I want to know!
I look for PB cookie everytime I'm in a scoop shop. I think cinnamon buns is a top flavor of theirs, I was really dissapointed by this one.

My mom owns a hardware store that sells appliances as well, I've been eyeballing one of those big old fashioned types that takes rock salt but has enough power to make actual ice cream with authentic texture. At 30 bucks (wholesale) it's a steal. Still thinking on it.
I've made some frozen stuff with whey/pudding mix..but not ice cream in the traditional sense.
I don't think you can pass up that deal on a legit ice cream maker..but if you do, here is how kenji lopez does it without one

thanks for following my twitter, I really love B&J to… my fav is coffee chunky, im big fans of coffee, beside the B&j any kind of berry flavour is so delicious too
but too bad, on my country especially at my town, is very difficult to find it ;(

I am actually eating some now. I think the ice cream itself is great. Nice and creamy. Once I took a bite or 2 and got used to the texture,the cookie was pretty good too.
